Why is there what looks to be a Union Jack on the bow in one of the pictures?

By the years listed on the link I would assume its the building of Gangut Class Sevastopol. I clicked on it and no problems at all.

Its not the union jack its the Russian Navy Ensign AKA St Andrews Cross.

This picture here strongly resembles the union jack with the center cross. True, on second look that's an inverted union jack with the cross overlaying the square cross. First look though made me think union jack.

Same colours too (only in reverse), I've seen it a few times in Russia and when someone is waving it it can look just like the Union Flag.
